E3diy team has just released the new version of E3 GF (A cheating tool for games). In this update it supports ROM games and HDD Backup Games.

Nothing else could worried E3diy team more than that the news of "E3 GoldenFinger support ROM games" may probably be considered as a fool's day's joke. So everyone in the team have tried its best to win the time. Finally, the new upgrade package is released just several hours before the deadline. New cheatlist is also released. You can download the package by clicking here, check the user manual for ROM supporting by clicking here (See it below). Here is a lame joke for the fool's day: A go without saying feature that A PS3 GoldenFinger should support both Fat and Slim console at the same time is supported by E3 GoldenFinger in a go-without-saying manner perfectly. Happy fool's day, both in the real and the game.

User manual for ROM supporting:

Step number 1: Power-down your PS3 and plug you E3 GoldenFinger in the USB port which near the DVD-ROM Driver of PS3. Make sure that no disk in the driver then press power-on button and the eject disk button. Wait until the blue LED on which means the the jailbreaking is successful. Use any backup manager to load a target game which should be supported by the golden finger. After system return to XMB, launch E3 GoldenFinger. Step number 2: Ignoring it and press to continue. Then you may enter the golden finger list of the target game. You can select all the selections just like shown below Step number 3: Press the "Start" button then system will return to XMB, Put a genuine game disk into the BD driver which belongs the same district as the target game's. You may see a new choice in the game list. Enter the game, and get what you want. Have a good time.

anyone able to get this to work? I updated the upgrade folder with the goldenfinger.bin and then copied the E3G folder to the 4M drive. I tried mounting ffxiii as well as dead rising. everytime I go to the "app home/ps3 game" it shows the game i have mounted and launches the game. I never see the e3 goldenfinger selection.
