Tutorial um eine 40gb große vflash region auf der internen hdd zu erstellen und anschließend Debian zu installieren. Als erstes braucht ihr diese sachen otheros-utils: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FSCBFO6A Petitboot image: http://www.sendspace.com/file/k04pch MFW Builder V0.2: http://www.relink.us/view.php?id=049...5da6b66e3b2450 Debian ps3 ISO mit vflash: http://www.cryptr.net/ps3/debian_ps3_netinst.iso grafs kernel: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=40I89MD9 und einen usb-stick eine linux insallation auf einer externen hdd mit grafs kernel Als erstes müsst ihr euch eine neue MFW erstellen, wichtig dabei sind diese punkte auf dem bild, 1, 2, 3, 5 ihr könnt noch weitere punkte verwenden wenn ihr wollt nachdem ihr euch eure MFW erstellt habt installiert diese nun auf eurer ps3. dann erstellt ihr noch ein backup eurer HDD da diese bei der der verwendung von den otheros-utils formatiert wird. Dann fangen wir mal an. Ihr installiert die pkg von den otheros-utils auf eurer ps3 und führt sie in dieser reihenfolge aus: 1. delete_vflash5 2. create_vflash5 3. delete_vflash7 4. resize_vflash 5. create_vflash7 das bild bleibt schwarz, bei manchen auch etwas länger! bei den delete/create pkg wird eure ps3 neustarten und sagen, das system konnte nicht gesartet werden. schließt dann euren controller per kabel an und drückt die PS taste und eure ps3 startet neu. also nix schlimmes. nachdem ihr punkt5 ausgeführt habt will die ps3 eure HDD formatieren, tut dieses dann auch. danach spielt ihr eurer vorher gemachtes backup wieder ein. danach kopiert ihr das petitboot image auf euren usb-stick und steckt diesen in die ps3. dann installiert ihr petitboot indem ihr install_petitboot_on_vflash5 ausführt. dannach noch install_otheros_bootloader_loader. dann nur noch Panic1 starten und ihr kommt ins petitboot smile um petitboot zu starten müsst ihr jedesmal install_otheros_bootloader_loader ausführen und danach Panic1. ich habe mir noch dieses (http://www.multiupload.com/FESHL02D45) bootos installiert womit auch ein petitboot ohne die usb probleme gestartet wird. einfach installieren, ausführen und über de lv2patcher starten. vorher aber euer altes bootos löschen. ich finde damit st es einfacher petitboot zu starten un man hat keine probleme mit den usb. falls ihr doch das petitboot vom vflash aus starten wollte achtet auf die folgenden schritte. Nun könnt ihr die Debian iso brennen und die installation starten. wobei petitboot probleme mit dem usb der slim hat, und freezed wenn man eine installation starten will oder das linux selber. da müsst ihr dann einfach sobald ihr auf install gedrückt habt sofort alle usb aus der ps3 entfernen, und sofort nachdem es gestartet ist wieder einstecken. jetzt installiert ihr debian. bei dm punkt wo er quick installieren will sagt er euch das es nicht geht. ich hab dann einfach ohne bootloader fortfahren gemacht. weiß nicht ob es geht wen man yaboot versucht zu installieren. bei mir wurde keine kboot.conf erstellt und ich musste sie mir selber erstellen. das habe ich von meiner debian intallation von der externen gemacht. von da aus habe ich auch den graf kernel über chroot installiert weil linux sonst nicht von der internen startet weil der kernel keine vflash treiber hat, das macht ihr so: ihr müss zuerst ( bei mir ps3vflashg3 ) eure ps3vflash unmounten mit umount /dev/ps3vflashg3 dann erstellt einenneuen ordner mit mkdir /mnt/chroot dann mounten wir die ps3vflashg3 neu: mount /dev/ps3vflashg3 /mnt/chroot dann noch mount -o bind /proc /mnt/chroot/proc mount -o bind /dev /mnt/chroot/dev dann chroot /mnt/chroot nun seit ihr in eurer debian installation auf der internen. jetzt müsst ihr noch die 2 deb dateien von dem graf kernel nach /mnt/chroot kopieren, macht es am besten über den datei manager. dann wieder im terminal wo ihr mit chroot drin seit: dpkg -i *.deb und der kernel wird installiert. ihr müss jetzt noch eine kboot erstellen und dort diese zeilen einfügen debian-intern-graf=/boot/vmlinux-2.6.38-graf-8e49063 initrd=/boot/initrd.img-2.6.38-graf-8e49063 root=UUID=a9e6cb6a-be64-43ab-b1ab-b7269dd569a9 hugepages=1 wobei ihr die root uuid von eurem vflash wo ihr debian drauf installiert habt eingeben. dann speichert ihr diekboot auf eurer vflash hdd und wir sind fetig. jetzt startet die ps3 neu und startet dann petitboot. dort habt ihr jetzt euren gerade ertellten eintrag und könnt darüber euer debian starten smile viel spaß damit.

Maybe this can help some people who follow this guide:

I had to take the steps in this order: 1,3,2,4,5 (also according to Graf his guide) otherwise I could not get ps3vflashg but only ps3vflashc with 42,9 Gb. Installing on ps3vflashc damages other vflash regions and makes your GameOS re-install which repairs your partition table to the original state so no 42,9Gb partition anymore.
