Maybe Sony paid people to "hack" into their network, as part of a ploy to try and villainize everybody running hacked software. Wouldn't put it past them.. But then again, we all know how ****ty their security is to begin with, so I'd say it's 50/50 on that.
I cancelled my order for Mortal Kombat, and went to Gamestop and bought it. This will be the last purchase Sony related I ever make. Yes, I know, Duke Nukem Forever comes out in June, I've been waiting something like fifteen years for it, don't care, I'll get it for Xbox and deal with the slightly inferior graphics. |

You know, maybe not. Maybe PSN was never actually "hacked" and they're just making an excuse to shut down PSN and change things, while making hackers look bad.. Seriously, you would put ANYTHING past Sony? I don't know what to think about it, other than they're scumbags.

Just chill and wait okay? No need to call them scumbags.

hah yeah. well i know. there are a couple things they can do for me. First extend my Playstation Plus by a few months at NO CHARGE.
Second, send me an advance copy of Duke Forever. Then all will be forgiven. However, judging by Sony's past behavior and attitudes towards their customers, even when it's SONY who's doing the wrong (OtherOS anybody?), and the fact that Duke Forever isn't made by Sony, but by 3D Realms, and has been through a plethora of publishers, none of which are Sony, neither of these things will ever happen. |

they just changed there owner info and u had to agree to the new terms if you did not they said they would close your account and refund your money awhile back. so is my info leaked ? and if so why i did not agree to the new terms ? did they not deleted all my info? any news on that would be helpful.
And if they did not they would not be following there on protocol correct that would. They would be reliable at that point in time since they said they are not reliable for loss of network and information correct ? "On April 1, 2011, Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (“SCEA”) will transfer its online services operations, including your wallet and the funds in it, to Sony Network Entertainment America Inc. (“SNEA”). The first time you sign in to your Sony Online Services account on or after April 1, you will be asked to enter into a new Terms of Service and User Agreement with SNEA. If you do not wish to enter into a contract with SNEA, you may decline the terms of service and we will close your account(s) and return your funds. You can preview the new Terms of Service and User Agreement with SNEA at:" Last edited by liljonatl; 04-27-2011 at 01:04 AM. |

for people who had signed up for psn, have you received a letter stating that your personal information has been compromised? Sony knew that this was a security breech and after reading the Q&A on the matter, I really dont trust sony now with anything. If anyone wanted to do a class action lawsuit, now would be a good of time as any. Sony learned that they are not invincible and IMO, i think that they will continue to be attacked until they change their ways which is most likly not going to happen.
So where does that leave the masses that depend on sony to provide for them hours of not going outside to actually meet people? And people wonder why Xbox live is so much better than PSN. If Graf is going to do some programming, now is the time to do it. Right now, sony don't have time to be chasing people when they need to fix the ghost in their machines. so it looks like i will stay on 3.55 and off the psn for life.
