I think you are missing the point that it may be a long while before there is any proof of identity theft (if any). That is why there is the 2 year clause in the claim.

If your identity has been stolen and you do not make a claim for damages now, then do you honestly belive a later claim when you have proof will be taken seriously? All that will happen is they will say it was not due to their poor security and you will have to fight Very hard to prove them wrong.

I think the amount asked for is a bit high, but I hope the claim is upheld and won.

the coverage should be fine enough, but to be honest if these hackers is against SONY, why use us regular users as a human shield? this is like a double edge **** to me.

i really hope that $ony burns for this. I mean come on they don't care about us all they care about is their games, and not letting us unlock the full potential of our systems. i mean look what they tried to do to Geo and Graf. I really do think that they deserve it. Gettem Gurl i Support you. even though i aint canadian.

This only helps the scum sucking lawyers get rich not the users. I hate Sony as much as you guys do but I hate lawyers and politicians more.

Oh please, she currently works in a cemetery and prior to that worked at home depot, she's probably hired injury lawyers for you by mistake (no win no fee!) hence the ridiculous sum claimed for. This will be the last news you hear on this one, guaranteed!

"proof?" info from 77 MILLION accounts was stolen. sounds like ID theft to me...

get an education then come back with an intelligent response.

The above made me lol, calling him a Yankee is equally as demeaning, then the rest of the post is full of spelling and grammar mistakes before ending on "get an education"

Oh and by the way, one doesn't have to be a resident of a country to have an opinion on a matter raised there, or are the thought police out in force again?
