Better means different things for different people, for the mainstream, it’s good that people make enduser friendly stuff so that graf or whoever can spend their time on the low level stuff, and do not have to play with making stuff user friendly.

yes, I have installed it 5 minutes ago.

EDIT: note: I didn't see the original post changed with instructions added. So the info below is obsolete. I'll start with a fresh install..... messed up my gconf2 anyway

I was hoping an a petitboot bootscreen at startup to choose between Linux and GameOS but it kicks me right to GameOS after reboot.
lvl2 v9 crashes now, I will look into it. It is CFW 3.55.

Only difference I see is a PSN icon I have never seen before. Maybe it deleted my PSN account info and I have to fill in my old info again.
I don't think it is a sign PSN will be back up soon

Edit: I had to re-install lvl2-v9 and BoototherOS. after that lvl2-v9 only showed the option to install debian so I think it killed my internal install by changing the partition table. Booting from rescue usb stick now to check what happenend...

edit2: my 43 Gb partition is still there. Let's see what the kboot.conf has to say. maybe I just have to add the line pointing to the internal install...
Yes, my internal is back when I start lvl2-v9. Editing the boot.conf did it.

FAKE!
Please realize that ANY CFW requiring survey completion to download is FAKE!
Any CFW that requires you to download a program to download it is FAKE!

Anyways-
Nice work on this Dual-Boot CFW. I'm glad to see graf's work is continued through his hardships.

Go to the source, it tells you exactly what to do.

I’d rather say anyone trying to download CFW that has to complete a survey, is not downloading from the source.

PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP

Get yourself a paper route and save enough to buy a 2nd PS3.
