ok my problem is that my xmb language starts going into jap language but not every icon just some random ones it dosent bother me its just rely weird and it dosent go away un less i kill the power to my system then like a week later a new one will pop up today it was the information thing yester day it was the store and so on

any sugestions

Have your tried "restore to default settings" and format? You will lose your stored data tho, so take a backup before you try something of the things..

yes i have tried every thing and today the folding at home was in jap

Call sony and ask whats up, they would be your best help in this.

i did they want me to send my baby in and try to fix it and if they cant fix it they are going 2 trash it and send me money 2 buy a new one but i dont want a 40 or 80 i want my 20 so i dont have to wonder if my ps2 games will work or not
