Petitboot Dual Boot working on 256 MB NAND
The folks over at Gitbrew have tweeted that they have managed to get Petiboot/Dualboot working on 256 mb NAND ps3’s (”phat” PS3s). A guide is expected to release soon, but great news for all you hardcore-Linux fans out there.

Good to have the older non-flash PS3's on board of multiboot too
 I wonder if those machines will have the same trophy error also...

Today I also posted how to enable BackingStore for AROS Only problem is the i386 distro is very well supported (even integrated janusUAE) but the PPC version is a nightly build and is only a very base system with some demo's and Dir Opus 4. Haven't looked into it because I needed to fix the backinStore first and I think I have to compile some things I want. PPC AROS is/was only used on some mac's besides the Amiga PPC platform and that is the problem, not many people are in to it and it is very difficult to find any info about the PPC distro while 90% is i386. Thing I am interested in is the minigl driver they use. I wonder if this can be used on PPC also to use some very basic 3D on Linux without using the RSX.
