Best format for video files.
Out of all the video formats that the ps3 can play. What is the best quality video format minus blue ray and dvd? Mainly I have been converting my videos from avi to mp4 but it looks like the conversion could be better.

Pirate, the TS asking best format that playable on ps3.
I dont think mkv is playable on ps3 without linux. BTT, If ps3 support MP4 advanced profile. Mp4 is the best for ps3. You can use h264 video and aac audio on mp4.

Xvid and AC3 couple is very good too.
