If you cant get it to copy from internal to external for whatever reason, use the file manager to move the files manually. Also, once it IS xfered, if you still have issues running it, try Select + X to launch the game from Multiman.

I transferred nba2k11 to my external WD passport via PC and when i plugged it to my ps3, PS3 is not displaying my external drive. i formatted my external drive to FAT32 via windows. what else should i do? thanks

Did you use the windows formatting tool? If so, there is a partition size limit imposed by the OS. It may have split your drive into multiple chunks. Try to re-partition the drive so it only has 1 partition of FAT32 which encompasses the whole drive.

Also, does the drive appear anywhere else, like under Video/Music/Photos? If so, that means the folder structure you've set up needs to be modified. It should be x:\GAMEZ\BLUS#####

i formatted my WD passport external using the multi tools for win v2. ok let me change the file structure then ill let you know asap thank you. By the way would you know if my WD passort drive is compatible with the ps3? thanks

As long as it's formatted correctly and receiving enough power, it should be fine. Check to see if your drive shows up under Video/Music/Photos in your XMB. It will show up even if empty, provided the PS3 can detect it. If you see it, then you know it's just an issue with the folder layout. If you CAN'T see it, it's either not receiving enough power, is a damaged drive, or is formatted incorrectly.

Hi again i got it.. my ps3 detects my external HDD.. but still nba 2k11 still not working?? is there any work around on my problem? almost all of the new games are working perfectly.. im only having trouble with nba 2k11.. i read on the other forums that they can play with nba2k11 by running the permission fix first for kmeaw3.55. do i still need to run it first even though im using the latest multiman and on kmeaw3.55? thanks again for your help..
