OtherOS more RAM

Hey guys, I got this idea a few days ago... Remember, after Windows Vista it is possible to add a USB flash memory to increase the RAM capacity. As this is the biggest problem of PS3, do you think this is feasible to increase the RAM in such way from the OtherOS?

I assume you have a windows other os? i have thought about this myself but the flash drive will be slower than real ram so i dont know how effective it would be ... and it can be done on xp... you can download a trial of eboostr and try and run it on your ps3 here is the link http://www.eboostr.com/en/#wrap_download

If you do try it I'd be curious to see hear how it worked

for me the missing RSX driver is the biggest problem

Never liked Readyboost on Windows..... I think it slows the system down in stead of "boosting" it ...

Well, I believe that ramdisk on a flash should be faster to ramdisk on the HDD, which is inevitable with only 512MB RAM available in total. (Assuming if you would like to use the PS3 as a real PC) - flash is generally better on accessing different addresses in a short period of time. Probably a SWAP part on linux should be faster than on HDD, exactly because of small bits of info written there... HDD is generally slower.
