noob install Ubuntu 10.10 ppc 64 on ps3 hd
Use Ps3 fw 3.55 otheros from http://wiki.gitbrew.org/index.php/PS3:OtherOS++
install all like in the tutorial ( Install OtherOS on HDD (for all PS3 models) ) only to step 9!! get ubuntu ps3 cd = http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/10.10/release/ take cd in gameos in the ps3 an start otheros and den start reboot. use expert install on the menue partition use ps3da make new partitions table = gpt make new partition ext3 and a swap install shut down ps3 after installation wiht powerbuton! restart start linux login restart ps3 boot game os game os is coruptet press x and use format ps3 hdd go to recovery menue select "Restore PS3 System" go in to ps3 xmb reply step of install other os! ( Install OtherOS on HDD (for all PS3 models) ) from http://wiki.gitbrew.org/index.php/PS3:OtherOS++ only to step 9! boot otheros use reboot in petitboot start linux! finisch!
