yes also packet injection, but the problem is Bt will not install due to the ps3 architecture and bt not being compatible.

How is it outdated?

Somebody mentioned Ubuntu 11 works, do you have a link or tutorial on How to?

I'm so excited to get linux on my ps3, but I still want to play my originals from the HD.

outdated method!

now we can use OtherOS++
that tuto uses AsbestOS and other old things, for example, installing another GUI for ubuntu since with that method it will be just text and command lines...

With OtherOS++ and the curret method we can have it running like on a PC...

Oh god this article is so terribly incorrect.

OS is basically a program in which will let you turn you PS3 into a computer. It allows you to run some programs that you wouldn’t be able to without OS. Some popular ones are Linux and Ubuntu.
Uhm, First thing, operating system is not a program. It in fact is an operating system which is compilation of software and a kernel. Also you can't generally run any programs without an operating system. (PS3 in fact has two operating systems.)
Second: Linux is not an operating system, its a kernel
Third(This is the part where I almost started crying): Ubuntu is Linux packaged with bloatware. It is Linux.
