What's the risk of the downgrade process formatting my internal HDD? I have about 60 dumps and quite a lot of PSN games I don't want to lose. My PS3 is a slim that was on originally 3.40 or before.

I've just flashed my old PIC dongle with the Cobra 2.0 HEX and want to give it a go, but I'll be avoiding if there's a high risk of losing everything. I have a 640GB HDD FULL! lol.

if you have already downgraded returningto newer firmware is easy just install the ofw you want like normal

ok so i followed this tutorial and the qa link is not correct. you need the qa extra witch is for downgrading if a mod could fix this im sure it would help people out a lot.

****edit*** im such a dummy. when i extracted to my desktop i didnt even see the other folder that contained the qa extra. my fault. everything is correct and it worked like a charm.
