Compared to the 15-20 Mhash/s of a PS3, its kinda no brainer to choose the GPU over the console for this. |

Seems like an interesting idea, I watched a few videos and just read an article on Gizmodo about shops that are accepting bitcoins along with real money, etc. Still, I never believed you can create something out of thin air so I don't trust it all that much. The fact that it can be stolen is even more interesting.

Got this running on my debian 40gb phat, it peaks around 22.9 Mhash/s
Thats running 2 ppe's and 7 spe's. Not very efficient but still 4 times faster than my dual core laptop which tops at 4.7 Mhash/s *edit new kernel installed it was only running 6 spe's before giving 22.9 now its running 7 and giving 26.3
