Going from gh or wt, if I didn't want to format the hdd, I would go into recovery menu and install ofw 3.55 first, then reboot before installing kmeaw. May not be needed, and is just me, but I think that would assure no issue's remain from a firmware with its own problem's such as it's own payload and such.

thanks for multiman it`s a great piece of software

I have a usb controller for 2 hdds. Mostly when I connect usb to the ps3
the first connected device is detected as a /dev_usb00* but the second one is detected as a /dev_usb0** (e.g. /dev_usb091) or a /dev_usb*** (e.g. /dev_usb121).
When this happens the second device is not scanned by multiman... Is there anything I can do so that multiman scans this device?

Hi Deank. Glad to see you here. I have an odd issue I would like your advice on. I have used MM from the start. I always update via MM. Never had a problem. Just updated yesterday to the latest version. I use coverflow theme (games side by side). When I load MM there is a graphic glitch on the bottom of the screen that runs from one side to the other.

It only happens on the coverflow mode. Every other mode is fine. I tried to reinstall and also tried the base package from here. I wanted to revert back to the last version but it won't let me.

Any ideas how to fix this or how to go back to previous version without uninstalling MM first? TIA

***Just noticed that when the button info fades (bottom of screen) disappears so does the glitch.***

Hiya Dean,
Firstly i would like to say THANK U for eveything u do for the scene, MultiMAN is by far the ebst homebrew app for the PS3!!
Secondly, i posted on another thread a while back but dunno if u got it, so thought i would say it here, have u thought about moving some of the icon around on XMMB, to be more like the original XMB, by putting the UPDATE icon at the top of the setting collum, and the EXIT icon at the top of the "USER" collum? I know it may sound picky, but every time i go to exit MultiMAN i always forget that it isnt the normal XMB, lol.
Finally, i know u probably have LOADS of testers for things, but if u do anything else new feel free to drop me a message and i'll test things for u, i was a tester for the Megabox Program all those years ago so i am quite willing to help out

Hi, is there any way to stop multiMAN from copying the video's i have saved on my ps3 internal hdd to USDIR/XMB VIDEO as this is chewing into my 40gb hdd?
I had over 16gb free before installing multiMAN then after running it for the first time i was told i needed to delete game data due to lack of free hdd space.
I press triangle while on multiMAN at official xmb and it registers at 15gb?!
I traced it to the USDIR/XMB VIDEO folder where there were copies of all movies i have saved on internal hdd, any help would be appreciated.

there is one way i know
1.Delete the Folder
2.never go to xmmb mode

i don't think his problem is multiMAN specific, IMO it has everything to do with how the ps3 can fail to see how much free space there actually is when installing games. (like how my ps3 told me i didn't have enough free space to install less than 1gb of game data, when i had 45+gb free)
