Interesting screenshot, so I went and got the pc port and dared enter the Dungeons of Daggorath, though I didn't long survive.

That game was ahead of its time. Text-based 3d dungeon crawl, but real-time monsters and fighting.

Love that game. That Game alone is the reason why I did this! In fact, cartridge support was the first thing completed after adding a SDL Keyboard driver. In hind thought, next time I will do the thing I want LAST, because it has been a time sink to just be able to play it when I get stuck. ;-)

So that you may last longer: Why not try the Dungeons of Daggroth manual???
