Min Downgrade Version Check Tool Released - PS3Hax Network

To help the team working on the JFW DH, users at Demonhades have released a tool to help you check the lowest firmware version your PS3 can downgrade to. All is made easier for you!

This tutorial will teach you to how to know the base firmware of your PS3 with a few steps and images.

The first thing you must need is:

- A PS3.
- MinVerChk

Here is link to our MinVerChk program - http://www.demonhades.org/foro/download/file.php?id=332

Here is the simple steps you need to follow:

1 - Copy the MinVerChk to your USB stick, the same way as if it was an firmware upgrade.
2 - Insert the USB stick into the PS3.
3 - Start a firmware update like normal from XMB (Don't worry, it will not update!)
4 - It will shortly fail and display the Firmware Base Value

confirmed working, my lowest firmware is 3.50. I sure hope JFW DH is ported to 3.55 else im screwed as i cannot dowgrade to 3.41...

Not getting any pictures either. Perhaps AdBlock Plus is working a little too well?

2.70 for me... if i want to downgrade my PS3 from 3.66 with downgrade software, how can i upgrade to 3.55 and not lower?

Just downgrade to 3.55 then?

I also think I should let it be known - the only method of downgrading at the moment requires soldering. Look up ProgSkeet.
