Media Player on MM 2.03

Guys i am having some probs using the media player, and i want to know if dean is the one to fix it or is someone else work.
The probs are:
1 - The name of the file and the name of the file.srt cant be much longer, or else, if u have more than one file, and they have the same long name with a diference at the end, and the file.srt is the same, media player will always get the first file.srt
House M.D. Season 6 Ep 1.avi
House M.D. Season 6 Ep 1.srt --> this one will load always
House M.D. Season 6 Ep 2.avi
House M.D. Season 6 Ep 2.srt--> this one u will have to put manually
U guys can say, but u can just put it manually, then i have to say, IF the file.srt were visible, it would be a piece of cake to change, but when u go to the menu for change, u just see something like this:
off
(x)srt file
( )srt file
( )srt file
( )srt file
Guess wich one is the one u want? AND NO, they are not in order.

2 - This is not much of a prob, i just wanted to know iof its possible to change subtitle color, yellow is better to see in some scenes.

Tks for reading all of this.

Try using the *unofficial* build 3.1.22 of Showtime, and launch it directly from XMB (the version of the Showtime included in multiMAN 02.03.00 is v3.1.6). The build 3.1.22 allows you to configure subtitle style (color, shadow, outline).

Hi deank, any solution for BDMV (Blu-ray) movies authored with JAVA extension ? I can mount blueray without java --> access by avchd icon with usb inserted --> blueray play with full original menu .

But with blueray with java --> error when click play video.

If I copy blueray structure into games folder on intenal hdd, clicking on this blueray video in Video management in multiman --> ask want to convert to AVCHD structure --> I choose "No" --> ask active this blueray --> I choose "Yes" --> exit to XMB -> goto video --> I see the right title of this backup blueray mounted as blueray movie disc (an original blueray movie inserted in ps3 drive ) --> click play --> the original blueray movie is played but not backup mounted blueray .

Any solution for java blueray movie? I want to play backup blueray with full original menu.

I know Sony remove java support on avchd content on usb device (just permit for UDF device). But Can you implement mount blueray structure as blueray movide UDF disc ? Just as BD mirror that mounted Games structure as Game Disc icon .

Diagram like this:

BD mirror Game folder --> Game Disc Icon --> Click to Play Game

BD mirro Blueray Movie Folder --> Blueray Disc Icon -> Click to Play Blueray Video with full menu

I think if you mount folder as disc icon, ps3 will think that is UDF device , so blueray java movie can run, unlike avchd mounted as usb (sony remove java on usb)

And blueray movie is on NTFS usb drive, using ntfs driver, Mounted as blueray movie disc icon.

I still have problems with the XMMB Clone and other Display Modes in regards to the Theme option... Other then that everything works great program.

The problem with the displays are that when I change the theme some of the displays don't change and others do leaving mixed themes and always the same image for the XMMB Clone never changed once.

I am happy to report that my multiman can finally access the net without crashing... But on the same end all downloads do not show up in the "Install PKG files" Folder.
They do however in the File Manager display and when I try to access, it freezes.
I also tried to move/copy the files to my usb root to see if they would show but to no avail.

I also wanted to know if the ability to backup DVDs was not pursued yet? If so I think that would be a great feature to add because the amount of DVDs vs. Blue Rays on the market and older movies not blue ray converted.

Great work though.

Sounds like you are likely using older themes that have not been updated for newer multiMAN.

I dont see a need for backup dvd on ps3 as it is easy on pc then transfer if wanted. Just my opinion though.
