Swapmajic????
hey guys, i just heard about this swapmajic thing that allows playback of different regions. i have one ps3 thats from hong kong (ntsc-j) and i live in australia (pal) i am unable to play blu ray movies, dvd movies, etc. will swap majic make it work, if not, any other solution.

I believe Swap Magic only allows you to play Imported PS2 games and DVDs. It doesnt allow to play different region Blu-Ray movies. This is because Swap Magic was made for the PS2, not the PS3.
However, I may be wrong... =P

does it reckognize video discs when inserted and give region error? What does the sticker say on the bottom of ur ps3??? |

well i know that it is a ntsc-j region 3, i cant see the sticker because i have a skin on it.
