One of the only reasons I can think that the data is being rejected is because of the game data files.

When you put a game into the PS3, play it, game data gets saved to the hard drive. As you continue to play, auto save data saves your progress.

Curious to see if the save hashs are the same between the game data and the game saves. When we save from a computer, different hardware ID's are saved to the file, causing an error when the PS3 tries to read it.

Take the hex from the file after you open it, then do it again after you save it. If we can fool the hex file into thinking that we are saving the data from the game itself, it might work.

ok I have never tried to hex edit or hack anything but a save file on a pc game. I know that the ps3 encrypts it's save files. is there a program that i can download to decrypt a save file, and is there a way to re-encrypt it without jail-breaking my system?

Thanks
