norpatch.exe does only recognize OFWs, so it would report a 3.55 kmeaw (and any other CFW) as unknown. But if you updated to 3.61 (doesn't matter whether teensy is soldered) and dumped your flash again, norpatch should recognize it. If it doesn't it's most likely that your dump is corrupt (-> check wiring).

What NORway version are you using? Have you recompiled the source? Are you using a voltage regulator? Were both dumps made with the same wiring? |

Hey, looks like this is making some great progress. i really want one for my ps3 but 1. dont have a soldering iron 2. never soldered before 3. dont want to screw things up so.. i was wondering if there is anyone out there who would be willing to solder it for me. Like maybe i could ship it to you can you solder it for me then send it back. Right now im just looking to see how much someone would charge to do this. Prefer someone in the USA. Also you need to somehow prove you are a trustworthy person

I use to use wire wrap wire for all my mods, i never really liked it. Brittle
Then i seen someones post about the kynar wire. Its very similar to the wire wrap wire but i thought the quality was 10 fold better. I had no problems with wires breaking while taking insulation of the ends. If your going to do the mod, do it right. Keep the wires short (under a foot) and use the right wire. I picked up a 50' roll of the kynar for 6 bucks. You may have your wiring all right but too much copper between test point and teensy can cause issues. Less is always better. Good luck |
