dam, its gonna suck for me on 3.55 as i can't downgrade without losing $930+ greenbacks on psn games and dlc over 2 accounts. i cannot risk my investment to a downgrade, especially when i don't have access to a ext hdd to create a backup!

oh, woe is me.

i do so hope for an eventual on par 3.55 port of this fw.

WTH does a PC have to do with anything? I have a $635 PC that can play all the latest DX11 based games maxed out @ 1920X1080 - but I still play my PS3. if the PC had any baring on what I did with my PS3, I wouldn't have bought one in the first place. As we all know the PC is the king of the gaming scene.

I use the PS3 for everything it was designed for.
1) To play commercial games such as Uncharted, MGS, etc
2) To run OtherOS and use linux
3) Developing software via OtherOS and linux
4) Homebrew
5) emulators
6) ??
7) ???

If you only want your PS3 to play pirated games and play online, your **** out of luck. Plain and simple. This scene has never revolved around pirates, never will revolve around pirates. So if your a pirate, go to the 360 scene. It's that simple.

EDIT: Hell I can even run games like Zone of the enders 2 @ around 50 - 60 FPS constant through PCSX2 on my PC. But again that has no baring on my PS3.

EDIT2: My comments are only directed at people such as antlala who are obviously crying because they can't get the latest pirated games. If you are among the people that own all of your games, then my comments aren't directed at you. I understand legitimate owners want a new CFW. I don't have a bone to pick with you.

2-6 can be done on a computer thats exactly what i was talking about. The main thing is video games and we can barely do it. Im saying what other people want to say and i could give a **** if i get banned or hated here. It'll make you ****ers think about what im saying
