PSVita game cartridge theory.

Seeing as how the GC (game cartridge) looks like an SD, it game me the idea that we could possibly see some devs make a reader with a sony sign, so we can inject mods into the game. Also, I give it two months before the Vita is putty in ps3hax's hands. Anyone want to tell me why this won't work? (I'm NOT smart at all )

we can't know that! is the psvita even out? do we have the cards to analyze them? should i keep going?
anyway i will give you one reason it won't work, the files are signed and encrypted.

OK, i have no idea about this, but are the DS files not encrypted too??

The idea of using a cartridge in this day and age, and knowing what happened to the DS, it really seemed like a silly idea. Sony tried something new with UMD, and that didnt really work well (i'm seeing them in charaty shops near me for £1 and £2, lmao)

Supposedly we can also buy those cards empty from shops like gamestop.... The purpose is to be able to write PSN purchases to them if we wanted to, if this was true, I can see this being used by homebrew devs, etc

If Sony has learnt from its mistakes in PSP and PS3, PSVita will never be hacked, or it will take 5 or 6 years
Also, if PS3 Blu-Ray protection has been a total success, I don't see how they won't be applying something similar to their cartridges.

The bluray gets a special manufracturing (hope it's the right word you guys know my english) with a protection that is only possible if the data can't change. I am not into the bluray thingy. But a manufractured BluRay has always the same vectors beetween the data and a kopied one has not. PS1 game disced made use of it and so on. A storage which is rewriteable or which contains user modified data doesn't have this "feature". So if you want to verify allowed data you can't jungle with this features. I think the data is encryped like the ps3 ones, which is thanks to their bugfix (use random numbers) quite strong. IMO noone except sony can sign selfs for 3.60+. I read about @gitbrew but without any proof i stay with my opinion.

In theory life is always easy. First i go and ask Sony will you give me your signing tools, keys and if you are at it. I need hardware schematics and your compiler. If you are at it HV and OS as compileable source code would be handy. Then i can create a reader sign everything and do what i want. Of course it is not possible to sign a reader and inject everything you want in there... Sometimes i ask myself what do people think while posting such things....
