Problems with router.

Hey my router likes to cut out randomly and you have to manualy reboot it and this is a pain in the arse, when it cuts out it takes all lights off including power light but leaves on the modem light :s ive tryed resetting it, updating the firmware on it and still it cuts out, any help is appreciated as always

Return it to the store. You should get 1 to 1 replacement. If still in warranty

it sounds like a fault in your power supply, does the router have a power "brick" on it's wire? Or even the plug itself? I.e a transformer? If so you may just have to replace that rather than the whole router.

Woah there buddy, I had the same problem with my Linksys... All I had to do was change the MTU and some other settings...

This happened I guess because I downloaded a lot using Bit Torrent and my settings were incorrect for it or somethin' :S

What kind of router do you have?
