no disrespect Glitch, but i was just bamboozled by the Persian McSalesmen.
My review in honesty wasnt a sales pitch by any means. XD my "review" did come across slightly negative because i just got so annoyed.with the psxness. But im glad Persian has purswaded you :D Its an awesome device. Id like to think mine is more of a "How to" with a little review added in. where as Persians was a full on proper review.

So if I have a bad bluray drive on my PS3 (good logic board so I can accept updates) and I know how to rip my own games on my PC just fine to ISO for PS2 and bin/cue for PSX to obtain true 1:1 images so they will be working images. Would the Cobra be able to play these files as I can't afford a new laser that will probably go out but I can get a dongle that allows me to play all my PS1/2 games without the need for a drive then F yea then.

I havnt touched my drive since i got my cobra, sure i tested it, with a CD-R / DVD-RW but other than that, ive used it all discless. BIN/CUE are easier to use, and less hassle than trying to make them into ISO's Ive tried plenty of times

The support from from cobra will only get better im sure.

You can try Lighttake, they usually have a discount code somewhere. If not, its not all that expensive anyways

OK. Can you play blu-ray iso films with original menu from external HDD??? No one answered this very simple question so far (posted few times already).

Thanks

Is the frame rate issue related to PAL/NTSC? I remember seeing in psx-scene long ago a thread about changing from 50fps to 60fps framerate modifying the ps3 registry. I wonder if that problem could be gone by changing that parameter.

I completely love the Cobra dongle except for one thing. It limits the ability of multiMAN.
