first, who says its so hard to do? with the right mindframe and ideas, this can be accomplished and the real only hard part would have been getting started.

i'm a realist too, i hope for the best but expect the worse. but i must give confidence to my peers less no one else will.

i wasn't trying to troll or bait anyone. but i been seeing alot of troll feedings and negative reinforcement here these last few weeks and i felt i needed to say something to the opposite and inspiring.

some get that drive from being told they can't do something, some get that drive from positive reinforcement. i'll stick with the later one.

2. It's released, it's out there, people wanna use it, it's their choice
3. If someone wants to use it and is looking for help, the thread will be there
4. you said maybe we should delete it. you think "we" should delete it. go right ahead and try to delete. since you seem to think you are PS3HaX staff and have the necessary access to delete it.
5. GregoryRasputin put it on the front page and Manster is the OP, I haven't seen Manster ask for it to be removed, or Gregory jumping to delete it because you think so.

I thought this place was supposed to be the "better" alternative to the childish ****hole that PSX-scene became. All I've seen since I've been here is Mods having little temper tanrums like you are here, and sections full of months/years old threads still on the first page because no one cleans up the outdated or useless clutter.

I said "we" because I thought you might actually listen, and take a bit of advice or constructive criticism on what this site promotes (or more importantly not promote stuff that might piss off Squarepusher) from one of it's own members, you know - like an adult would, and at least consider what I said. But you just decided to flex your "733t Ski11z" internet tough guy muscles, and brag about being a mod. Whoopdeefrickindoo. that and 50 cents won't even get you a cup of coffee, champ.

I made a legitimate suggestion to remove a thread and link to an unofficial emulator build that squarepusher was pretty pissed about getting "released", since it was plagued with problems and has now been superseded by the official, properly working release.

The only people acting "hard" here are you and the other mod who are bragging about being mods like it's some kind of achievement.

So we both agree that version wasn't really a good idea to release, right?

Square left PSX-Scene as his release homebase because the change to their TOS stated that they could basically do with his emulators as they pleased, and kind of promotion they pleased, and that they basically "owned" his IP once he posted it there.

You're continuing to promote an unofficial compile of his IP, without his permission, by leaving the news/thread up.

I wasn't trying to be "hard". I'm trying to suggest that if this site wants to take up the mantle of being the good place for all these PS3 homebrew devs to feel comfortable with releasing their work - it's probably not a good idea to go around promoting ****ty unofficial sneak releases of their work. Never mind arguing with users and defending keeping it up there even though it's already been surpassed by the latest official version.

You are not requesting that your work etc be removed, you have taken it upon yourself to be judge and jury, and sorry, but that is exactly how even your first 'request' came across as (Intentionally or not).

I don't honestly think anyone disagrees with you really, but just as you believe some Mods are being knobs on how they are responding, the same does work in reverse you know.

Personally I have a PhD in being a knob so I am fine with it all

So nobody disagrees with me, but we're going to continue promoting half broken unofficial builds of this guy's work because someone got their pride hurt by a little harmless sarcasm.
