Hope it helps with some thing... wasnt the last sdk like 2.7 or something? i hope this brings some new files in for the devs to see
A few devs have got access to the ps3 dev network. I've heard some have the 3.70 sdk. They just don't give it to the general public because of all of the implications.

They don't give it out because they don't have it or are pussies. Lulzsec hacked scedev.net and the folks who hacked PSN would have no problems obtaining such a small part of the Ps3 world, full hardware documentation and entire OFW source codes are far more important and fun. I think this is great and this is progress but I don't think it's good for anything other than reversing parts.

It is against the rules to make entire posts in any color than black/gray. I will let it slide now but next time you will get a warning.

When I took a look at the incomplete SDK I did notice it's pretty well documented, I wonder if this one is the same. Hopefully it is then if we have any remaining devs in the scene, they can do some serious work. My prediction plugins and more features on 3.41 and 3.55, Blu-Ray backups would fail miserable, and I should hope the serious devs don't think about releasing a method to play burned blu-ray since we already have an ISO loader and it works fine.
there's no reason to be a rude d*ck about it!!! Everything we need to get games signed for disk writing is right here...and that's just the first thing I saw after browsing through.

I looked a little deeper, and I noticed there is also a BDemu (not sure if it's better than the one we have or not) and it mentions something about a BDemu HDD partition....maybe this is the proper way to set it up for HDD loading??? It's possible that maybe this could be a better way of doing things if it's what I'm thinking of.

There's also a lot of options I've noticed that we already have available to us through lots of separate apps...there is an option to edit sfo files, for example...but we've already got this available to us via an sfo editor app. That doesn't mean it's not useful, though....maybe this has the ability to do more than we already can because it's the official one.

There's lots of great stuff included in here...unfortunately, it's made for ofw 3.41, but I'm sure not much has changed since then with the exception of keys, of course.
