Burn the movie to a BD-R or BD-RE disc and play it. If it is too big to fit 25GB BD-R, use BD-Rebuilder and process it. Or buy a Cobra Dongle and play blu-ray iso files.

I misunderstood the question Dean when I read it then, I thought he wanted the extras you get with java bdvd, I was on the understanding it was not compatible with how the ps3 uses java or the power needed to play on the fly, so made my post, I now continue to bow my head.

As you know the PS3 was the FIRST consumer blu-ray player and it has absolutely no problem playing 2D Blu-ray movies (HDMV or BD-J/java) and all 3D movies (except some with java I think).

Enable/Disable Game Setting From File Manager

Dean, Lots of Thanks for your hard works, maybe it's a little idea from me..
maybe it's only a small amount of people at scene who have children and their share ps3 with their children. or just buy ps3 just for the kid's....
Maybe (and Hope) with more secure, the kid's don't mess up things so easy...
Thanks DeanK...

Yes, thats what I thought Dean and because of that, the new 3d BD-J format may not play with all the new java menus and PIP and extras , on a modded ps3. Yes on 3.70 ofw, but if it can be done, then your the man to do it, that's for shore.

Regards.
Dave

You can restrict access to File Manager, Lock multiMAN to a selected display mode and disable copy/delete functions. There are options in XMMB Settings column where you can set all these, by enabling PIN code protection.

The default PIN is 0000.
