Well done Daveyp187, but I'm a lazy ass and would of asked the guy here how and what he used seeing he is driving an xbox360 and a ps3 at the same time. Nice one for working it out tho, seeing you was told it would not work.

Just in case you mist it, it's on the front page.

Nice job daveyp187, have you had a chance to break it in with some game play?? I am curious to see if you experience any type of problems or enhancements in processing whether it be now or over time. I'll be keeping up with the thread. Impressive work man.

very nice work dave... How did you connect the 12v that usually connects under the ps3 psu? 12v and ground or 12v and -12 v? also, did you simpli wire it or did you solder, or use some kind of connector? i am very interested, as i have to connect quite some stuff it would be better for me to just connect everything on a pc psu... If you could make some kind of guide or post what pc psu cables did you connect to it would be great

Seriously mate, lose the tape and fix it better as the tape will lose adhesion soon with the heat and then you have the chance of a 12v lead touching parts it should not touch

i only made this to test for a faulty ps3 psu.. i now have another ps3 so the mod is not needed but yes i would of soldered it.

first wire isnt needed as its to turn on the ps3 psu
then ground, ground, 5v, 5v,

and then solder/tape ground to the back mobo prong and 12v to the front prong

then bridge the pc psu buy grounding the light green wire
or the psu wont run.
