Hey the scene didnt start at 3.41 because some jackass company came in with their little dongles. If the scene really started at 3.41, then I guess the years of looking for exploits and the years these sites have been around was to make the illusion of a scene.

Actually the PS3 scene did start at 3.41. Everyone really classified it as a scene when 3.41 and dongles came out. I'm not talking about the PS2.

Everyone has pretty much stated that the PS3 scene started with 3.41. Or are those PS3 scene 1 year b-day threads all a farce? Just like the 360 scene first started when the first exploits came out for that, and same with the wii. A scene starts when a community forms around it because of an exploit as it opens the device up for more functionality then the device started with. Or lesser restrictions of said device. So yes 3.41/dongles was the start of the scene.

That would wipe out history of geo getting Other OS removed, if the scene started then.

well i have to disagree that people have the right to be impatient. cfw is a plus, and nobody made them jailbreak their playstation in the first place. so now that they have been given extra (ie cfw) they expect more. not cool. its kinda like when someone has more than someone else, people expect ****.

intellectually sound i was trying to make people laugh but you took it the wrong way, and trust me i know what a troll is we get plenty of them, and im sorry that you are a pirate and can't play new games i can understand how that would make you mad but like bobby said psn and cfw should not be together if they put out another cfw i hope its not 3.7 or if it is then the ofw is higher so they cant get on psn. no people should not have to get another ps3 but it was known from the very beginning that you would have to choose.

Bud your going down hill now, with telling us when the scene started, wikapida whatever you call it talk bollocks, the scene started when devs could talk to each other about a project. and in this case this scene started at the ps1 stage, and the xbox at the xbox1 stage.

Not the 360 scene, wii scene, or even the PSP scene. So why is this scene the only scene that has this overlord mentality where you come out from one overlord and are greeted with even more restrictions,etc? Simple answer : efame, and ego stroking.

Anyways I'm done. People will say what they want. the fact is this is the only scene that has this stupid mentality. The 360 scene is just one example of how to do a scene right. Wii is the second and hell even PSP is the third.

Again you seem to lack reading comprehension. Where did I mention PSN in any of my posts? I did not say I wanted PSN. Likewise CFW =/= PSN. Just as CFW =/= piracy. Reading comprehension fail.

Again as i said it was not known from the very beginning that you needed a second PS3 just to enjoy games, homebrew and linux. Notice I didn't say a damn thing about PSN. I agree PSN should not be mixed with CFW. But this isn't in anywhere in my arguements is it? No it isn't. Only Bobby said this. Which I agree with him. CFW/PSN don't mix.

Like I said, I'm done. Now it seems I'm gonna be labeled as a pirate just because I believe people should be able to play games on their gaming console. Yup always label someone. Just goes to show you can only see in black and white. When in doubt, label someone.

(Again notice none of my arguments have a damn thing to do with PSN.)

PS3 scene = / = PS2 = / = PS1 scene's. Likewise Xbox 360 = / = Xbox1 scene. now your just mixing scenes that have nothing to do with each other besides the fact that they are the successor to the previous generation. This scene really started with PS3. Again as we are on the PS3 platform. this scene has nothing to do with the PS2 scene. They are separate scenes. While the sites may share information on the previous scenes, the platform scenes are individual of each other. Sites just decide to lump the information together because it's the theme of the site.

so you are basically saying that if i give you 100 dollars then i should keep giving you money just because i have more? no way i gave you free money in the first place. and didnt even have to do that.

same theory they give 3.55 cfw, and lets say i got 3.70 cfw, now im entitled to give it to you just because i have it. no im not. just because people have it doesnt mean they owe it.

And like I said so you believe that this scene should stifle innovation at every turn and go against all odds to keep the information private? That instead of following all the other scene's principles of releasing stuff, and contributing information for the benefit of the scene, that the information should be held back? Well if you believe that's how this scene should be, fair enough. But that just means your shooting yourself in the foot just to be an idiot.

Again this is the only scene that seems to do the direct opposite of what other scenes do. Xbox360,PSP, Wii, and even the Xbox 1 scene all function as a community based scene where the information is released for the benefit of the scene and the end users at large. But yet this scene does the direct opposite and people agree with it? I seriously don't get the logic in that. I really don't. Why go against innovation? Why? that's just downright stupid. if humanity followed this scene's principles, we'd still be living in caves and throwing **** around like monkey's. Humanity evolved because people shared information and innovation for the benefit of humanity. That principle is expressed in the 360 scene, Wii scene, and PSP scene. It is not expressed in the PS3 scene. - Again I can't comprehend why people believe this isn't a problem. It just goes against all forms of logic.

Also you wanna talk about money? this is the only scene that thrives on donations on one hand, while simultaneously ****ing people over on the other. The decr unit, and the $300 price tag of the RSX crap just to name a few.($300 for what? Something that is completely unusable to the people who donated for it. So don't even try to justify this crap.) So ya in this instance if I give you free money I EXPECT YOU TO DO ****! Not hide it behind a damn closed door. - Again all logic seems to get thrown out the window with this.
