Also you wanna talk about money? this is the only scene that thrives on donations on one hand, while simultaneously ****ing people over on the other. The decr unit, and the $300 price tag of the RSX crap just to name a few.($300 for what? Something that is completely unusable to the people who donated for it. So don't even try to justify this crap.) So ya in this instance if I give you free money I EXPECT YOU TO DO ****! Not hide it behind a damn closed door. - Again all logic seems to get thrown out the window with this. (last post, as it's really getting downright pathetic.)

i am not saying that i like the fact that information is held back, but there is simply nothing we or i can do about it. but yeah probibly be better off if people didnt say that they had it in the first place.

Well funny enough "pirates" as you so eloquently edited my post, are the reason why you even have a scene in the first place. As this scene wouldn't exist without the dongle stuff really taking it off. So you have those people to thank for that. If not I doubt ANY of the devs currently producing stuff today would be here. But whatever. I won't dignify you with another response. NN folks.

Um sorry bud, but your wrong, my ps3 was 1st jailbreak with geo's 5 meg pup, I now have an E3 to repair, or unbrick if my firmware crashed the ps3.

I never got one when they 1st came out, as I, in the scene that you call it that only started at 3.41, told me to wait for Geo. Now if you think about it, if I repeated that, would we have a great way to first soft jailbreak the ps3, without spending money, No it would of been killed there and then, so take note you will know when you need to know and not before, now stop your crappy engineering and take note.

If the stuff is private in the first place how would you know people are holding it for themselves? But I do agree that people have the right to be impatient, but as everyone knows the impatient ones are the trollers/haters/beggers. And I support the fact that if someone has something that no one else has they have the choice/right not to share it. You seem like you are eagerly wanting that 3.7 CFW that you soooo know exists, but even if it does you aren't getting it any sooner by posting it on the scene. Furthermore I remember research exploits and hax way before 3.41 and/or the dongles. It was about 2 or 3 months after I purchased my 60GB PS3 (same week of launch). I remember there being a video exploit that someone found but at the time there was nothing good, Dongles weren't out yet and the "scene" was still new. If you believe that a scene is a community that got started because of an exploit then you might as well be talking about youtube, and a whole bunch of other forums before PS3Hax.net or similar sites got started. Youtube is a community and it had members trying to find ps3 exploits way before the dongles.

If people want to play the new games update your ps3 like everyone else. The devs have no desire to release a new custom firmware because all it does is enable piracy. I really doubt most people here complaining about new cfw because they value homebrew SO MUCH THEY JUST CANT BARE TO LEAVE IT BEHIND.

There are people like me on the other hand, a programmer. Who chooses to learn from the ps3 rather than play games. Sure id like a new cfw so i can play the newer games. But im not going to ***** for it, because i know how difficult programming and reverse engineering a system actually is.
