Hello Bobby thanks for your sharing, so I thought it would be nice to give a little feedback.
I did try your 2nd release and your 3rd one, on one of my ps3's with no issues and everything I tried worked, apart from the sound glitching on startup, but no big deal. ![]() So I would recommend your firmware to anyone that wishes to simply jailbreak and have done with it. The reason I'm not using yours is because I create my own. I have tested almost 100% cfw out there thats been posted here and on other sites and yours and maybe one or two others including mine do not give the two peeps on shutdown like many other cfw's do, so you have something right. what I am playing with in my cfw is change the rss sony feeds to mine in the information, and I have changed the privacy settings to not point to web sites that exist, because all the ps3's out there that are using the same privacy TCL patch for modding firmware, will ping/point to these sites (below) everytime we are using the xmb. The ones that are not up, are for sale so theres some fun to be had there. When I 1st looked into this weeks back most the ones below hit a 404 now they don't. click the links to see where the replaced links take you, I don,t mean you Bobby i mean anyone reading this, because you would of done this before anyway, i would just like others to know. playstation.com > http://aaaaaaaaaaa.com/ Sony.com> http://aaaa.com sony.co.jp > http://aaaa.co.jp/ qriocity.com> http://aaaaaaaa.com trendmicro.com >http://aaaaaaaaaa.com/ allmusic.com > http://aaaaaaaa.com/ And so on, so I change to were I want it to go. Anyway Bobby nice work. And sorry for the long post.

Yeah I didn't ues the privacy patch. If people are that worried unplug it from the internet. I've never bothered with it. There have been others that have attempted to change the RSS feeds via proxy. You could probably find that info on this site
