I personally don't care, but can understand if people have a problem with it. Using a swastika is like using a A-Bomb to hammer in a nail. Sony new tos are stupid, but not kill your family Nazi evil. I' not ***ish so I do not know how it would fell on a personal level. I would expect it mite hurt a little.

I dont think Sonys actions are anywhere near as bad as the thousands who died at the hands of Hitler, when i use the term Nazi, it is more regarding the control/dictatorship aspect of Nazism and not the mass murdering aspect.

As to symbols, the best example is to cite the cross that many christians carry around on a chain as a symbol of their faith.

The cross was used to kill people in one of histories MOST horrific ways (check out EXCACTLY how Most people died on the cross), but that has become a symbol of hope and life. The swastika could have been initially disigned to say "I have smarties for sale", but it was used as a symbol by the Nazi's and with that it became a symbol to most of dicatorship and THAT is what Greg uses it for. No hidden motive, JUST to say that Sony (in this case) are acting like dictators.

Take Shell (Royal Dutch). They doubled their profit to 18Bn (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-12348746). Meanwhile I am almost broke if I get some liters of fuel. My personal transport costs have risen with 500% the last 10 years. and all that to make some shareholders happy.

I should first mention that I am not personally offended by the use of swastikas, as many people have already explained it's just a symbol.

However, I did want to post because I found some truth in just this one statement, found in the first post:

"It is irresponsible and unfair those that suffered, and continue to suffer to compare a Company who attempt to override your rights as a consumer to that of an organisation that was responsible for the systematic murder and suffering of nearly twelve million people."

I think what this is meant to say is that Sony taking away stupid little software and gaming rights is not the same thing as murdering millions of people. I don't think this person meant we shouldn't use ANY flags or symbols, just that the flag/symbol that was used is not an accurate analogy to what is going on. Now, I understand that no one is trying to say that Sony is LITERALLY as bad as the Nazi's, and the swastika is certainly an emotional symbol that has come to signify dictatorship. But I think the argument goes that by starting that comparison it begins to trivialize the atrocities of the Holocaust.

As for the christian cross...I never understood that one...but then again I never much understood that religion anyway...and I was raised in it.
