would there be any way to add bits from a pc program, such as DVDFab, to the program, as they can back-up DVD abd Blu-Ray movies, and decrypt them too, meaning there could be a way to play the back on the PS3 via multiMAN.

Just an idea.

I'm leaning probably not, due to the legality of DVD/BD DRM decryption software in some places.
