Sorry forget that, what I mean is you have a 10 Mb connection giving you a 1MB internet connection. In other words for you to have a 10MB connection to the internet you would have to have a 100 Mb internet connection and that's not quite out there yet but coming to a town near you soon sorry I thought I would clear that up so you can understand the bandwidth you have to what you need to drag the streams/feeds to the ps3 without it timing out, or locking the ps3.

In order for watchtv to work well is reducing the bottle necks and 9 times out of 10 its the networks your end or there's, anyway sorry for long reply but take a look at you connection speeds 1st. How dos your home computers stream feeds and live video dos that always pause and the buffer more? if so that's whats wrong the ps3 times out or just takes time to buffer more data .
Actually the PC/Laptop streams without problems!

I checked the stream url and i think it might be the url because the site used is one from switzerland (Wilmaa,a tv stream service)and has that "stopping after 1 min. " due to rights outside switzerland!I want to update the url but i dont know how to update the xml file correctly to test it!

Somebody can help?

This is Pro 7 for example:

rtmp://31.31.34.231:1935/live<playpath>pro7 <swfUrl>http://youfreetv.net/tv/player.swf <pageUrl>http://youfreetv.net/tv/pro7.php

Maybe you can try it and tell me if it works and if yes let me know how to update the xml file correctly

Thanks

and what server web address do you use in the watchtv setting, where are you pointing it for the xml files?
And for testing use my server http://ps3hax.net23.net/ in the settings of watchtv, then I'll edit my xml to see if the feed works, then you can have a copy of my xml and server it yourself after.

if your not doing it already run MM and then start showtime then run the watchtv plugin. Can you do it that way if not already as I believe its the best way.

I am using my own dropbox server adress:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/42604XXX

I use the showtime directly from the XMB instead from MM....

what is the better solution?!

Drop Dropbox, and like I said within MM, and remove from the xmb and use showtime in Deans MM with watchtv plugin. only use the showtime Dean uses. ok

Do that and then set the address to mine above..

Explore is the best way, and there is lots of help in the MM threads that would help you more bud, update MM then showtime is there, then install plugins. I dont feel dropbox is any good for serving just xml files but if thats your only way it makes sense you can host your xml's on my server the some gos to anyone, just ask. anyway its gone 1 am and im off to bed. I'll look later and see how you got on.
