I'm sorry to say this, having been here since ALMOST the very start, but.....

ABOUT F**KING TIME!!!!!

I hate saying it, but before this new wave of mods, the site was going down hill, all u ever read were posts saying "do something decent" or "can i play my 3.56+ back-ups with this" and stupid questions like "My sisters, boyfriends, dogs, left nut updated my PS3, if i take out the hard drive, stand on my head, pray to GeoGOD and sing a lada gaga song, will i be able to play my back-ups again??"

I understand that the sheer number of members now will obviously cause there to be more trolling, and of course, more no brain idiots, but up to do, it seemed to be delt with in a "please dont say things like that" way!!

I for one am looking forward to this coming into effect, and who knows, maybe with the ammount of trolls, idiots, spammers, and other low-lifes that have crawled out of the wood work, maybe we might get our numbers down to 100k, but ONLY the decent, nice, friendly people that the site used to have!!

P.S. I still love PS3HAX, dont worry about that, I still love most of the people here, they are the best bunch of people on the scene, and I still think the new AND old mods have been doing a great job, but no it is time to step up the game!!

NEVER gonna happen.

If u r being honest about ur dislike of something, then u will be fine.
If u r showing ur opinion, in a fair and polite manner, then u will be fine.
If u r asking a serious question, AFTER using the search button, the u will be fine.
BUT. If u r being rude, nasty, flaming, trolling, or being just plain stupid, u will NOT be fine!!

The mods here are the fairest I know, they are all VERY nice people, and wont go abusing their power like some "OTHER" sites mods have in the past.
This isnt a "BAN HAMMER" its the same nice people ruling with "AN IRON FIST!"

i think its ok for people to ask when cfw is going to happen because they could be complete noobs , but its when people write in a thread that has nothink to do with cfw or keys eg . when condorstrike makes Solar v2.3 and some one goes this is useless i want cfw i want keys i want you to bend over and to what i want , that is wrong and it gets on my nevers , people should repect all people work they do on the ps3 even if it not somethink they would use , eg there been homebrew that i wouldnt use but i still thanked the dev who made it and i even had a go on it a few time . devs do stuff on there on back no one is there boss , so why should they get hassle from people that he dont ow anythink to them , they have got lives and jobs other than the ps3 , if more people give and not just take the ps3 community would be so much better than it is , knowledge is amazing think and is more people lernt about how to make stuff for the ps3 etc the community would be better . im learning because i want to be a part of the ps3 community propley but untill i lernt it propely all i can do for now is try and help people in the help section , so in a way i am sort of helping the ps3 community.

As much as agree with the sentiment regarding the running of the forum (and the general trolling issues at the moment), it grieves me to say its very hard to argue that the scene generally is piss poor at the moment and 99% of the time Random user is spot on the money most of the time.

Apart from DeanK and his appetite for Multiman development the scene is going absolutely nowhere. Everyone harps on about Homebrew and what it is capable of, but at the root of everything the PS3 is a game system and when you can't even go out and purchase a game because you are using a custom firmware the entire point is missed entirely.

Just face it people, sooner of later no matter how good Multiman gets it won't make any difference if we can't play the latest titles. The scene is utterly dead in the water without the 3.6+ keys. Not one dev capable of getting them is willing too without a drumroll, fanfare and tickertape parade down main street.

With Sony's dogs baying in the background, they know they can't take any credit so won't bother.

Sony customers are pissed off, and rightly so IMHO. Stopping people expressing this, is censorship. So why not have a Rant forum so forum users can blow off the steam that they obviously can't do in the general forums???
