Hey I wanted to ask would an up-to-date CFW be allowed access to PSN with these keys? Because I think Sony used a different verifycation system with other keys, or am I wrong? Or maybe a possibility like ****psn or something like that. I don't really need it, but Uncharted 3 is probably the only game I want online . Thanks

The CFW should be easy, like a few months ago when geo released the first CFW which only allowed signed pkg's. A few days later kmeaw released the CFW most of us use today.

We don't need any CFW above 3.55, neither PSN... If we get PSN, then Sony will start to sue people again! If we remain just playing our games offline, then they will leave us be

People on 3.55+ need it, downgrading isn't easy or cheap after all...

Bad thinking. If you go offline any game you gonna use (future ones) or like portal 2 or games that have de 3.6x keys on it (and cannot be played). You are screwed anyway...
So being oflline it's ok but you can't prevent an update if you bought some new game.

You are right, People on 3.55 still need patches and downgrading it's not cheap but what choices do you have if you have ONE PS3 and you want to play backups and you are on OFW 3.6x?
Updates can be avoided, but you never know. Like i said you put some new game and the update is included and you are done.

NO MORE PRIVATE KEYS... EVER!!! So no CFW above 3.55 unless it is signed with 3.55 keys meaning you must be on 3.55 to install it so if a 3.60/3.61/3.65/3.66/3.70/3.72 CFW came out you would have to downgrade to 3.55 first to use it. that is the skinny on this situation. a better idea is to use 3.41 or 3.55 and add 3.56+ public keys to them becuase those firmware have less spyware and security.

NO CFW!! FOR 3.72!!! you can only downgrade and put CFW 3.55.
