yes i downloaded it yesterday,for Testing Purposes,you dont even have to modify the eboot for 3.55 just put on external and play

The game was probably built on 3.55 or lower firmware.
Disc based game eboots are not often encrypted or signed making it possible to modify them.
Its the same Castlevania hack or something entirely new.
Duplex did claim to have 3.60+ keys or someway to decrypt eboots.
3.41 eboot works just fine.

people PEOPLE PEOPLEPEOPLE dark souls is out...would someone care to tell me what are the chances that a cfw will come out until november? ....cuz i LOOVED demon souls...and dark souls looks badass...so i can't w8 anymore for a cfw.....i haven't updated to a ofw for years.....but dark souls is worth it...SO PLEASE!

how would we know when. there is no set date. but when or if it comes you will know.

This really made my day yesterday. I also thought about posting this info some 12 hours ago but I thought it's too much "piracy related" and I wasn't sure if things like are against new rules so I gave up.

Shadow of the colossus is in my top 5 favorite games of all time so I'm downloading it now because I can't wait for my preorder (if any games deserve to be bought it's these two).

it dosent matter who , how or why we people got it , the point is you got it somehow it , some people moan cos nothink gets released anonymous well here you got. you got a game should only work on above 3.55 fw . cant you just accept you got a extra game and pirates u got a free game wow . who knows maybe more will come or other stuff may be it wont

I don't think its proven that this is a 3.56+ game
The big thing here is that game isn't scheduled to be released here in the US until: September 27, 2011.
That is always a big deal.
After buying the game and looking at the guaranteed retail eboot on the disk we will know if its encrypted or not and or uses the 3.56+ keys or not.
Until then its all speculation.
It could very well be just another clever Castlevania style hack.

guys if this was really a sign that the 3.60+keys are reversed then all the unplayable games would be fixed already too (portal2 example) i think a unencrypted debug update eboot was found and why this game works even before a official street date release
