True, he decrypted a lot of stuff which the console can already decrypt. I don't think our 3.55 consoles know how to decrypt stuff from 3.70 for example. That was my point. We shall see.

well, in terms of decrypting games with graf's psgroove payload, if the keys aren't in appldr, it won't decrypt them, your asking appldr to go and decrypt whatever you asked it to, if it doesn't have the keys, it can't do it, 3.55 appldr doesn't have 3.70 keys in its table.

Right, it would require an exploit for 3.56+. I'm skeptical too, but as you say we will see.

There are only 2 options to play 3.56+ games:
1.) Get the keys, decrypt eboot.bin and run on existing CFW 3.55. 2.) Don´t get the keys, but find an Exploit for 3.70 FW and create 3.70 CFW. |

Only bad part I see about this if its true (we can all hope it is) is that from what I've seen there will be a snowball chance in hell of multiman being on it
![]() I hope they have figured it out and i hope someone will reverse it and put it in a mfw so we can use multiman. |

well, if jfw utilizes 3.70 fw, then the public keys needed would be present already, and decryption would be automated by the console itself.

I might be wrong, but "PERMIT" playing sounds like it will allow 3.70 games ORIGINALS(on disks) to be played, or are playing from HDD or the disk the same thing?
