I'm wondering, Is it possible to access the Showtime application without entering Multiman? - without installing the Showtime itself, because that way it's going to be different Showtime versions (if I'm wrong please correct me)

I don't know but I think I read somewhere that was possible.

Thanks!

You can get the latest unofficial standalone build of Showtime from:
http://www.redsquirrel87.com/ShowtimeUnofficial.html

It is often the same version of multiMAN's Showtime.SELF (which is a modified version of Showtime to make it work better with MM)

The official builds of Showtime are available at Andoma's GIT:
https://github.com/andoma/showtime/downloads

Dean -

In case you hadn't seen this yet - PS1 emu can be launched from inside Multiman 2.07.04.

http://www.ps3crunch.net/forum/threa...ING100-on-3.55

Any way to incorporate this functionality into Multiman, and redirect the ps1 emu to ISO files?

I can confirm that this method is working great in PS3 slim
I tested a CD backup of Chrono Chross and loaded fine in CFW 3.55 Kmeaw.

I also tested a backup of a PS2 game, but it didn't work on my PS3 slim.

Thanks for the news!

In 02.07.05 the PSX and PS2 discs are properly detected. PSX discs will show in XMMB Game Column and you can launch the PS1 game from there.

It uses ps1_emu.self. If you press [TRIANGLE] over a PSX game icon you can pick to load the disc using ps1_netemu.self (Net).

multiMAN ver 02.07.05 UPDATE (20110927-212000).pkg (1.75 MB)

Link is in the first post.

There are a lot of other things in this release, but I'll post about that in the changelog for the 02.08.00.

I tested PSX burned to CD-R and it worked, so I can confirm that it works with some games.

I hope you find this useful along with loading PS3 games from DVD/BD discs.

Just a reminder: All disc backup/iso/psx/ps2 stuff works ONLY WITH FW 3.55 and not 3.41 or lower.

Meesah Like-ah Diss!!!

EDIT: Just checked it out, and yes - the PS1 disc is recognized, but it won't load from the XMMB. But it works fine through file manager.

I updated from within multiman. do I need the BASE file update?

lol Wait...so which one is the newest? 02.07.05 or 02.05.07. Because you said both..but 02.05.07 isnt out yet right? Are you saying It "will" be able to detect ps1 and ps2 discs? And if so what do you mean by that? Do you mean it'll allow us to play all region ps2 and ps1 games?
