I tested with Road Rash, FFIX, and FFVII all NTSC-U versions and could not get the saving/loading to work with the new method. I too had a memory card set up awhile ago as I had been playing through FFIX on my PS3. The only one of the above that is even a backup is FFVII.

Guys I will say it one more time so please read well...
- Turn on you PS3 console - DONT open multiMAN - In the GAME column look for "Memory Card Utility (PS/PS2)" - Create a PS1 memory card - Set it to Slot 1 (Press Triangle while selecting the Memory Card, then Assign it) - Now, run multiMAN - Insert your backup disc - Load it - Play - Memory Card is in Slot 1, no need to mess with it anymore. SeeYa! ^^

Perhaps a "none" working list should be created... |

CaptainCPS-X's tut should probably be updated in the first post.
-Not only did he find the solution to save files -But he found an alternate solution to running backups if the preferred method doesn't work. Thanks Cap Brilliant |

Booting a PSOne game resets the memory card being unassigned to any Slot. Are you sure it works?

I eagerly await the day saving becomes possible. Otherwise, playing these is near pointless..
