No problem Deank !

Back to MultiMan.. As it should be

I have a USB memory card reader..

1st card is Usb001, 2nd one is usb081 ..

001 will scan for games ect...(both work in file manager fine)

Im assuming to get the 2nd card (usb081) i need to edit the options.ini file and add usb081 as a scan device?

Yes, options_default.ini or options.ini.

Add it as hdd_home2= or 3/4/5... with full path like

hdd_home4=/dev_usb081/GAMES

I have a problem when I try to run a legal import japanese psone game with multiman everything freezes. When I eject the game it unfreezes. Is there anyway to stop this from happening and make the game playable? One other thing is if I try running the game normally it gives me the wrong region message. Something else I do not see the "PSX black disc icon" to run psone backups. I'm only able to play them with multiman itself. Also incase this helps i'm running kmeaw's cfw.

As far as i know PSone games are not region free in the XMB as in you can only play games from the same region as your console. I presume this restriction also applies when using multiman to play PSone discs.

But i may be wrong..

Like I said when I tested Final Fantasy VII International(Which is the japanese version) it worked perfectly in Multiman. So I don't know what the problem is with the game your testing. Maybe some imports work and some don't...I really don't know.

PSX have some protections, first you need to make an 1:1 image of the disc.
Backup using RAW format, Mode 2/XA. Some games need that you also get the subchannels and copy the bad sectors.

Here are some technical info...
http://consolecopyworld.com/psx/psx_cd_info.shtml

Some suggested programs are: CloneCD, BlindWrite, CDRWin, Alcohol 120%, imgBurn.. even some people liked to use ISOProducer to make the 1:1 ISO images, then burn them.
