Now that psx games are playable thru dev_flash ps1emu via multiman. I was thinking that the same thing could work if you used the PSP emulator in the pspemu folder in dev flash. Now if a coder could make this work. It would be a miles stone in the PS3 hacking scene for sure. Let me and everyone know your thoughts

Hard to say. The only reason the ps1 games are working is because there is a disc in the system. lol I think once it's figured out how to load ps1 games without the discs I think that'd be the time for something like this to be discussed. I say it could be just around the corner.

I do believe there was a hacker who was able to launch PSP games mentioned a little bit ago. A week or two. I also believe it was from the xmb... Was not able to play them yet though.

Might not be as far off as you might think.

i have been looking a bit in this, and there once was a dev who said to be able to play them, but he never made a release... I believe, as the psp games structure is very similar to the ps3 ones, that it may be possible to do just as it has been done for limbo and create a game.ini file that allows the launch of psp games from multi man... Yet this is only talk, as i am no dev...

I was thinking if you dump a game in ISO format on the psp then burn it to a dvdR and put it in the ps3. IDK just throwing things out there.

Yeah yeah I read that too. That guy had a twitter account and everything but I was not sure if he was updating with any news...and now I can't even find where I originally read it. I think it was posted here and over at psx scene. hmm...yeah he spoke about getting ps1classics to boot or something along those lines but also said he got like one psp game to work...and it was that Loco roco or whatever game...lol which he said booted but didnt work too good? Iunno...

Found that guy his username is Snowy/Snowydew!...appearently he found out about the ps1 games working now through Multiman...and he commented on his Twitter saying "Well f*ck, it was literally that easy xD oh well, *goes back to working on the psp emulator" Soooo... apparently he will go back to testing and working to get PSP games working.
