Dragon Age Origins issue (nothing happens after PRESS START)
Did a search here and under PS3 GAMES nothing came up.
I backed up Dragon Age Origins and when I launch it, everything goes fine. Once the videos stop, you are presented with a PRESS START screen. When I press start, the letters disappear, but nothing happens. I am using Miltiman 1.16.05 Wutang+Geo CFW 3.55 LV2Patch and BDEMU Nothing is working. I searched online and some suggest doing the SELECT X for direct boot, when I do this it wants to re-install the game and if I let it, nothing happens it gets stuck. This is the only game out of my 20 PS3 games that I am having issues with! When I was on Kameau, there were several games not working so I went to Wutangz+Geo. Any tips? EDIT: Dragon Age Origins, no DLC installed, no updates installed, just fresh out the box backed up. Last edited by Schnitter; 03-05-2011 at 08:22 PM. |

This game only works when running off the External HDD.

Yes, all my games are on internal HDD.
I bought a 750gb internal for this very purpose. I was under the impression all games worked internal and most external, so I rather do internal (plus its faster). Still, not working for whatever reason. Even after I deleted everything and installed again. |

Do you have a disc in the drive? Or are you launching it without a disc?

I am using Wutang+Geo so I MUST use a disk. Disk is always inside, my GT5 Prologue to be precise.
Its the only game that doesnt work. I have no games with black screens, just this one game that refuses to do anything after pressing start on the "PRESS START" screen. Im going to try and update to 1.06 see if that helps. |

Which version of Dragon Age is it? Is it the version that includes the DLC? If so, I suggest installing the DLC. Back when I used to play it, I first installed the DLC THEN launched the game. It worked fine for me.
Installing the 1.06 update may help as well. |

same problem here MUltiman ver 02.00.02 cfw 3.55 but it doesnt start just shows black screen then error 80010017 help please am stuck.
