MM freezes when USB drive is connected
MM worked before, but recently it starts to hang when USB drive is connected. Unplug the drive solves the problem. But it also means USB can't be used. I updated MM to 2.8.0, removed the cache folder and changed to another USB drive. But it still freezes. Drives are formatted as FAT32.
It's been 2 hours trying to troubleshoot the problem. Would appreciate any help. |

got a bunch of JPEG photos, and some retro games (SNES). no movies, no mp3.
************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* Gaia Manager can detect and launch games from the same drive. So I guess there is no problem with the drive. |

Try to delete options.ini (if you have such)... Or check if your USB HDD has options_default.ini or options.ini saved in the root. Delete all options.ini/options_default.ini you have. May be it causes it to lock - other users reported the same issue and it turned out to be an old version of the options on their drives and inside multiMAN's USRDIR folder.

yes I have tried with last update 2.08.05 working but not scans all 4 USB Hard Drive if I delete options_default.ini or options.ini
But I need edit options_default.ini so that all 4 USB Hard Drive multiMAN to scans and this work only with ver 02.06.00 no freezing while scanning process example Code:
# Secondary search folders: hdd_home2=/dev_usb071/GAMEZ hdd_home3=/dev_usb072/GAMEZ hdd_home4=/dev_usb073/GAMEZ Last edited by Netto; 10-02-2011 at 06:10 PM. |
