Hey, my name is Jeff (give you 3 guesses on my last name ).

I am a computer technician and try to abide by the rule of Google first, ask second. I've googled and came across this site and am still in the process of searching through the forums for the set of instructions I need. (If your feeling in a "Be nice to the newb" mood, thank you in advanced!)

I am 19, I own a Xbox (Running XBMC), Wii (hacked), PSP 2000 (CFW), Xbox 360 (hacked), iPhone 4 32GB (Jailbroken), Dell Studio 1557 with Mac OSX 10.6 and Fedora 15 dual boot, and a 2006 Cadillac CTS (birthday present from loaded grandparents, I'm poor) with a nice sound system (aftermarket).

I am trying my best between work and school (College at OSU) to add my PS3 slim which currently running (I believe, assuming since I'm at work at the time of writing this) 3.72 since I had just ran the update a few days ago. I am still searching for a set of instructions on how to jailbreak it straight up from 3.72 or by safely downgrading it.

I am very open online, probably a tad more than I should. I am a computer technician for a local store that is family owned and operated.

A basic run-down on the fact that my employer is family owned and operated:
My father, 55, is a tech. His name is Jeff.
Me, 19, my name is Jeff.
My Boss (which we will name Tom)
Boss's Father, has the same name as "Tom"
My Boss's mother, which we shall call "Carol"
My Boss's wife, who we shall call "Missy"
Then some guy that we WERE (not now) all friends with, who we shall call "Richard" (Anyone have any nicknames for anyone named Richard? )

I am also in the process of bringing everything to the latest versions of their respective jailbroken firmwares.

Also have a few questions about doing a couple things with my PS3 other than for a media center (What I have been using it for lately with a lack of time while doing homework and catching up with work.

BTW, I may be wrong but the Table icon for the posts looks like a broken image icon? Sorry if I'm being a pain.

You can't jailbreak any firmware over 3.55 , if you want to downgrade you need to flash the NAND using a piece of hardware . Search the forum it's on the front page

Welcome to the forum...I wish my grandparents had crazy money to buy me a Cadillac...but it would be very strange if they did since they are all dead.

Then again, there is a very good reason why I got rid of my old Caddy...it starts with an, "F", and ends in, "uel consumption".

Mine gets about 32MPG when I put it on the dyno. My girlfriend told me I had to put toggle switches on the sound system or she'd leave me because I listen to it so loudly, she didn't wanna go deaf.

Thank you, and yes. I live in Southeastern Ohio (You may hear banjos playing, literally). I just started and I am pursuing Network administration and after that some cyber security and programming. I have already gotten my associates degree in Early Childhood Education from a different college, mainly in case the computer thing don't work, I can be a pre-school teacher or something. I also found something and I don't know if it will work but it will be at the bottom of this post.

I also read somewhere that the E3DIY team has either made or released a flasher (E3 Flasher) that requires no soldering (I don't have very steady hands. At all.) that may work with my PS3. I have a PS3 Slim with a 320GB Hard Drive (OEM) and I was wrong. It is a 3.70 firmware. I didn't download it last night, though I do have it archived on my NAS if I do need it.

Does that hold any water? I am actually still searching through Google and the forums trying to find any instructions on how to downgrade to 3.55 from 3.7, since as far as I understand that is the last available jailbreakable firmware.

Also, you may call me Jeff. I am still working on the Cadillac getting it up to my par, so to speak, so if you would like pictures when I'm done, let me know. Also, sorry for the massive posts. I like to respond to everyone that I can in these Introduction forums. The last forum I was on was a PSP Theming forum called PSPXMB-UAE but its pretty much died quite some time ago.

Quite alright lol If you think that blows your mind, I'm also a medically discharged USAF Seargant. Broke my hand, wrist, and arm and they weren't too happy. ****-canned me.
