Spanned Games

I was wondering if Dean or anyone else knows if MM will support games that are spanned over more than one disk like FFVII and others. I am sorry if someone has asked this before i tried to keep up with and read almost every thread in this MM forum but i might have missed a couple. I would try and find out the answer to this question myself but my PS3 60 GIG YLODED on me.

I am in the process of acquiring the proper tools to resurrect it hopefully so we will have to wait and see. It died on me playing a PS1 game go figure that is just my luck lol. Thank you so much Dean for all of your hard work and not giving up on any of us when we have bad apples in everything that happens in life no matter how hard we try to stay away from them. They will always be there because no one is perfect in this life.

When a multi-disc game ask you to insert the next disc, you just press the Eject button of the console and insert the next CD-R backup disc and continue playing .

Just in case, multiMAN doesn't support ISO mounting or playing games from HDD at this moment, only from a burned disc (CD-R), so I dont see why multi-disc games would give any problems, they should be ok.

SeeYa!

@deank ,
Is it just me or is there an issue playing MP3 in 02.08.01?

If I play any MP3 from the Music column in XMMB, it shows the animated icon but I get no sound.

If I use button and play them from XMB, they play fine from XMB, but not from multiMAN.

If I select Theme-Audio -> Enable or Music, and restart multiMAN, the background music plays (theme music or random music). But the MP3s don't play selecting them from Music column in XMMB or from File Manager.

I have tried it with Background Appearance set to Image. Same with that setting set to Video 1 (if that matters).

My music are just 3 MP3 files stored in dev_hdd0/music (using XMB).

To fix this rename the "GAMEZ" directory to "GAMES" using the file manager or connecting your HDD to the PC. After refreshing the list everything should be there again .

I tried playing with the PSX Display settings and they don't do anything The games screen size stays the same no matter what i pick... And yes i have a HD tv that supports 720p and 1080p, It would be nice to play some Tales of Destiny 2 in 720p or even 1080p

Cool

Thanks deank for your hard work

BTW, is it possible to fix the problem with Final Fantasy XIII DirectBoot?
I'm not able to run it through DirectBoot, it makes a "black screen" (or a White screen, with black lines. It seems to be the start up logo "Square Enix").

I really need to take pictures from this game, which is possible only via DirectBoot from Multiman ^_^

Thanks in advance for your help.

Those with problems now seeing games from external USB HDD: update online (using debug mode) or download the update from the first page.

multiMAN ver 02.08.01 UPDATE (20111001-101100).pkg (1.75 MB)

Let me know if all is ok.
