Well regarding your 3000 you can have what is known as (L)CFW which is LITE Custom Firmware, since you are on 6.35 go to 6.60 the latest OFW and then install PROS 6.60 (L)CFw and use the fast recovery in order to boot back quickly into custom firmware after you have done switched off your system completely. If you need links let me know

button. This reduces the process of you having to go do the installation of custom firmware over and over again. This is what fast recovery is. And please update to the latest OFW first before you use custom firmware. Its on a similar basis as the PS3.And once again you would need to be on 6.60 Official Firmware to install custom firmware. P.S. I will also not be responsible if your system gets bricked or you spoil it yourself

Do not touch that folder, like I told you via PM. That is only for devs to use, not for the average end user.

Emulators are really great to use on the system, other than that I'd say look around, oh you may want to try lamecraft, its a really great piece of homebrew, and it won the genesis competition. You should also look into getting POPS station loader for PSOne games, really great gameplay from the PSP.

Hello,
I kind of have the same question as sumesh. I am going to buy a new psp3000 tomorrow and I am wondering what kind of cfw is best for me to install? I found a very good guide to install ''PRO CFW'' but I am not sure if thats the best CFW for me. The psp will mainly be used to play downloaded psp games. I hope someone can help me :D. |
