But before that, think of it once again...! Didn't you miss a fact? How would you run an ISO of a cheat machine and after use a game? You would need to remount a new ISO which would be impossible while being already in the PSOne emulator... Also you woulnd't be able to just insert and run a game after from a disc since PS3 already uses the mount function for the Disc Drive. The only way you can do this in theory is if deank want to do the painful work (I'd help him ) and put an embed cheat machine on MM and you can select a variety of cheats preloaded on the RAM while the game starts.(The same solution to the issue on PC emulators of game consoles)

As for cheat disks, it might be a bit like cheating was on the PS2 when loading from the hard disk...you just took a trimmed down ARMAX and merged it into the game image. Not only did it work perfectly, but it also allowed you to trim the cheats list for just that one game. |

Merge the images. If you are reading a CD image from a hard disk, it can be as big as you like. Or, you could just forget about the images and do it with a folder method like the PS3 games...assuming someone modded the PS1 emulator to do that. You might even be able to have separate images and just use some kind of trigger (the eject button?) to bring up a list of images to use.

do me a big favour, shut the hell up, as for the drive noise, it's normal, i have some ancient ps1 games burnt to cdrs and they make a hell of a noise when inserted into the ps3, the worser the media the louder the noise, i might reburn some of the older games i have on disc as the grinding sound is really distracting!
