Hi Dean,

Just as Saku said, it's a real shame we now lack this feature... As many people I place my music, pics and movies in USB external storage. I only use the internal HDD for media content greater than 4GB ... In my case I have very little titles, so MM performance (refresh list) was never an issue for me

I believe the "expanded" selection in MUSIC/PICTURE/VIDEO folder was great from the visualization point of view and a lot easier for my kids to just browse them up/down and selecting their prefered stuff.

Would it be possible that you consider adding an option in SETTINGS to allow the "expanded content" feature back?

No big deal, but I found that movie titles now show the extension (.avi, .mkv, etc) when browsing USB ext folders, and .png support is now gone ...

Regards,

Download the FULL package of multiMAN, extract *all* the files in the rar, open the extracted multiMAN [EBOOT FIX].rar and extract the package_finalize.exe into the same folder where you extracted the FULL package. Then drag & drop the PKG file over the package_finalize.exe, wait until the black box (DOS box) dissapear and you should be ready to install the PKG.

Ok guys, please there is a recommendation thread, if you want to keep asking for stuff to be added you should go there, and please be CONSIDERATE, @deank is doing this for free.

Is NOT an obligation for him to "satisfy" every person.

For those still wondering:

- PlayStation 1/2/3/DVD/BD/etc ISOs cannot be mounted by multiMAN (Dean has not announced or promised such feature)
- PlayStation 2 support is not available in multiMAN (Dean has not announced or promised such feature)

About 'X' or 'Y' feature available in multiMAN but announced to be removed for optimization purposes:

- Dean will not remove the previous versions he released of multiMAN from the whole internet or your PC / console, you can always install back the previous version with the features you want to keep.

Guys if you know that Cobra can handle PS1/2/3/DVD/BD ISOs, Backups and all the other stuff, then just buy one, and please if you're gonna reply saying that "it is not worth it", "i dont have money", "i want this stuff free now!", "are you kidding?!", etc... please go to another forum (Scene Drama?) to post it, I'm just giving a valid solution for you "desperate needs".

Btw my final recommendation, if you want PS2 so bad, you still can find refurbished PS2 (FAT / Slim), I recently bought both just in case (before fixing my BC PS3), they were 'very' cheap, you can mod them to use backups from external HDD and stuff, there is a forum here at PS3Hax where you can look for info. I'm just recommending possible solutions so you don't depend on @deank to do whatever you want.

Anyway, thanks @deank for sharing your amazing work with all of us .

SeeYa!
^^

Ok, i added it back in the online update (for now).
Also browsing for videos using the device icons will show .jpg/.png/.JPG covers and no file extensions.

Sorry but I had to comment this x), it's so very true!

If you want it free and so badly, why not do it yourself? Be proactive, not a bump in the road for people willing to please you!
